Year 1 - Adobe Novice
At the beginning of my FMB journey, I had very little. experience with Adobe Creative Cloud, more specifically, Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop. It was very daunting to begin, especially whilst learning remotely due to COVID-19. After many hours, and lots of perseverance and patience, I began to improve and understand the basics of creating a academic, yet creative report. This page showcases my first year work as I start to form the foundation for my professional portfolio.

Group Zine
This was our first group project in 1st year. We had all submitted a zine cover, and for my category for Sustainability, my zine cover was voted to be used, therefore I was awarded the team leader, which I was very proud of. It boosted my confidence as well as my abilities within CAD, which I found difficult at first. The group project allowed for teamwork, creative thinking, communication and improved our group's time management. However due to one team member's inactivity, it was very difficult to reach this person and collaborate, especially since a zine needs to be coherent, however we managed in the end to create a very coherent zine that was both visually appealing and informative.

Illustrated Narrative
One of my first larger reports I produced in my first year. I was given the brand 'Savage Fenty' by Rihanna which I was very pleased with as I admire her and am a fan of her diverse and inclusive brand showcasing women all shapes, sizes, nationalities, disabilities, personalities and stories.

Year 2 - Industry Exposure
My second year, was packed with branding + strategy projects. I found this year very exciting, yet challenging near the end due to personal reasons. I really enjoyed the LIVE group projects as we worked very collaboratively as a team and the industry exposure was very insightful. This page showcases my second year work which I am very proud of. My CAD skills have definitely improved since first year and I felt much more confident, and was able to push my own creative boundaries.

BDP
For the Brand Development & Promotion (BDP) module, NTU BA Fashion & FMB collaborated to launch a new brand based on their own original designs. I launched 'Leah Marie' which encapsulated Leah's feminine, timeless & women empowerment collection complete with branding, personality, tone of voice, aesthetics as well as a communication plan incorporating my knowledge I had learnt so far during FMB including marketing strategies, Adobe CAD skills, collaboration, teamwork, organisation. I am very proud of the final outcome and realised brand.

Marketing Strategy
Clarks, the iconic footwear brand took front stage for my 2nd year 'Marketing Strategy & Insight' Module. After touring the Somerset HQ, I was able to deep dive into the 100 years of Clarks. This report was very challenging, as it made me think think outside the box for new and innovate strategies to elevate Clarks in the ever-changing brand environment. I was very pleased with my report outcome and I'm proud to showcase to the left.

Year 4 - The Final Lap
The final lap of my four years at Nottingham Trent University. What a way to end my time on FMB by showcasing my final year work which I am very proud of. I've harnessed all the skills I've learnt throughout my university time enabling me to succeed in the future where I begin to start my professional career.
06
Stage 1
Part one of my dissertation worth 25% of my degree which was very daunting yet exciting as I was able to continue with my interest in Generation Z & wellbeing, however I chose to focus on romantic relationships with an exploration on identity "we vs i" and social media. I produced a "very strong authoritative literature review" with great visualisation of theories. As part of my report, I really enjoyed undertaking primary research which included networking with industry experts and completing in-depth semi-structured interviews who all gave invaluable insights that will carry me into Stage 2 where I need to conceptualise these insights into a business plan.

Future Thinking
First report of final year, was a formative annotated bibliography on my chosen topic of Generation Z anxiety and the pursuit of wellbeing as this was a topic close to home as I struggle personally with my own anxiety which has grown since being at university. Researching the macro trend was eye-opening and this report helped me to get back into academic writing after being out on my 12 month placement at URBN.

Stage 2
Part two of my dissertation worth 50% of my degree which meant producing a fully realised and commercially viable business plan. As part of my report, I really enjoyed creating my brand Blossom, especially logo design and general branding.
