Buying Intern
After choosing the Buying + Merchandising optional module in second year, I was inspired to apply to one of my favourite brands Urban Outfitters to be a buying intern. After several rounds of interviews I was successful and began my 12 month placement in the head office in London. I was placed in the Renewal team which focused on vintage and archive clothing which was new to me, however I was able to give inspiration to my buying manager, and design and create new inspired by vintage clothing through the 'ARCHIVE' UO label. It was a very intense first three months with training and learning the ropes, however after six months I much more comfortable and then was put in charge of several processes like web handover, fits, and sample management. I believe my placement year was invaluable and I'm grateful for my experience and hope to further my career in buying after I graduate university.

PLT Student Ambassador
After my own personal interest in influencing just before starting at NTU and building up my own instagram to 2k followers, I decided to apply to be a student ambassador for PLT as I grew up being obsessed with the brand! I was successful and became part of PLT's first ever class of student ambassadors. I signed a 1 year contract which included creating social media content on Instagram & TikTok to promote the brand in exchange for gifted items as part of PR. I was also invited to PR events + music festivals like WEARE festival as seen in the slideshow. I now have over 3.5k followers and I hope to keep building my own personal fashion and lifestyle page by continuing to stay up to date with trends, influencers and all things social! Here are some social content I have created and posted to the right.

Student Cribs Brand Manager
Whilst in part-time employment at JD Wetherspoons as a bartender in final year, I wanted to gain more experience in a customer facing role, where I've been working as a brand manager in Nottingham to show potential clients suitable housing. After showing interest in content creation and social media roles, I was given the chance to create content for @studentcribs official TikTok account with frequent communication with the marketing manager. I was given different briefs to complete to promote houses to students interested. I am proud to say my content has reached over 3 million views on their page, proving my resourcefulness and success. I wanted to keep improving my content creation skills after completing my contract with PLT so therefore I will continue to make content when briefed to enhance my employability and reach my goals of becoming a social media and influencer marketing assistant whilst also improving my own personal brand as a micro-influencer.
